Friends of the Earth Brisbane is a voluntary based organisation and encourages new volunteers to get involved.

There are numerous things you can do to help out Friends of the Earth Brisbane. You can offer your time, your expertise, or if you haven't got time, you can make a donation. Improving the condition of our environment relies on the input and dedication of people like you. Throughout history people that have worked together have achieved many great things for the earth's people and planet - you can help to create the next wave of change.

Friends of the Earth Brisbane is essentially a volunteer organisation, with a huge number of opportunities for getting involved in all aspects of what we do.

We always have new volunteer positions available, supporting many organisation areas and skill base requirements. We welcome all volunteer seekers, click on this link to hear from some of our team who are:

  • Professional volunteers
  • Skilled retired volunteers
  • Student interns and university placements
  • General volunteers

As a starting point, please see our 'volunteer positions' or speak directly with our volunteer co-ordinator. Depending on your interest you could contact the office and ask how you can get involved.

Come to a Friends of the Earth Brisbane introduction meeting.

You will find out about the many ways for you to get involved, the way in which we work and why, and above all you will hear about our existing areas of focus for our work. These campaign areas are:
