Where will my money go?
As the quickest, most effective way to ensure that our environment is protected and that society transitions to a more just future, giving monthly makes a big difference to our organisation.
With more than a decade's experience at the forefront of environmental action in Queensland, FoEB knows how to put your money to good use, right where it can make the biggest difference. And because all our active members are volunteers, you know that 100% of your donation goes straight to the front line in the fight to protect our environment and local communities.
Your money will go to support work on our coal, peace, nuclear free and climate campaigns, as well as providing resources for our office and volunteers. Give us a call if you want to know more.
Why should I donate?
Your donations are vital to the important work we do here at Friends of the Earth and we certainly couldn't continue without the support of community members such as yourself. FoEB is different to a lot of other environmental organisations in that we don't spend a huge chunk of our budget on fundraising. We don't receive money from corporations or government, so we really are reliant on your generous donation to keep us strong. Your donations above $35 per annum are tax deductible.
Apart from the warm fuzzy feeling and our heartfelt thanks, as a monthly donor you will also receive our national magazine Chain Reaction four times per year, and Groundswell, our local newsletter, keeping you up to date on things happening in Brisbane.
